This past week two Okemo female athletes, Siofra Murdoch and Mackenzie Laurion, traveled to attend the USSA Eastern Regional training camp at Cannon Mountain! The athletes that attended this camp were the top performing first year Eastern U-14's based on their skill assessments. This camp was designed to utilize Cannons unique terrain to improve these athletes fundamental skills in both Slalom and Giant Slalom events. This camp brought together athletes from all over the East Coast and was a great opportunity for them to work with other coaches/athletes. Not to mention it was a sweet spot for a powder day!!
Great job to Siofra and Mackenzie for being selected and to all other U -14 athletes on their results so far this season! Keep up the great work!!
